One of the nice things about a farming region is that at this time of year there are are babies about... of all sorts ...a ewe and her lamb... a mare with her foal... and if you look closely at one of the photos of the mare and foal you will see a nanny goat and her kid in the background.
Sometimes you see something that just makes you laugh. THIS made ME laugh... and the funny thing is... I've seen several of them up in Lincs... sometimes with accompanying signs like "X-ing" or "next so many miles"... sometimes without anything, just the picture
Folks here obviously take their ducks seriously !

And finally, just for the heck of it... and because I like rhododendrons and bumble bees... here's a picture of the two together... another classic symbol of early summer. There is nothing like the droning of bees on a lazy summer day.
