July 26 - Finch
Farm
Anthony, Steve's 13 year old nephew,
had come back with us from Lincolnshire for the summer and fishing was one
of the things he wanted to do. Being a new fishery there is a nice stock
of fish and the fishing is easy, so we decided to start Ant off here. It
didn't take long for him to land a nice little Common Carp, with the assistance
of Uncle Steve.

Phil, our pole fishing
friend, got stuck in straight away, too, and was soon pulling fish out right and left.

As for me, I was fighting off a summer
cold and decided not to do any fishing. Instead I opted for stalking the
wild and wiley Bumble Bee amongst the Thistle.
That one looks promising....

Coming in for a landing

Where should I go now?

Ah, a nice fresh looking flower over there.

That was the end of my photographic
efforts for the day... the sun had gone in and I was feeling a bit chilled so I
just curled up and watched fellahs fish.
